The Man of glass
shattered so fast
lies naked, in pieces on the floor
he hurt so bad
and bottled it up inside.
trying to forget it
but alone, he could not hide
he screamed out in pain
and decided to take more
he played his own worst enemy
and gave himself a new, clean score.
he held in his tears
and gasped one last breath
hoping that no one could hear
the excruciating pain of his death
